**Job Summary**:
The Vice Principal for a Special Needs School plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the institution, with a particular focus on supporting students with diverse abilities. This position requires a blend of administrative expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of special education principles. The Vice Principal works closely with the Principal, faculty, staff, students, and families to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Leadership**:
Assist the Principal in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school. Collaborate with the Principal to develop and implement policies and procedures in alignment with the school's mission and vision. Coordinate and supervise various administrative functions such as scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

**Student Support and Services**:
Work with the Special Education Coordinator to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring that their unique requirements are met. Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff in implementing differentiated instruction and accommodations for students with diverse abilities. Monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers and support staff to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs effectively.

**Staff Development and Training**:
Facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers and staff on topics related to special education best practices, inclusion strategies, and working with students with disabilities.Conduct regular observations and provide constructive feedback to support teacher growth and improve instructional practices.

**Parent and Community Engagement**:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardians of students with special needs, serving as a resource for information, support, and advocacy. Organize and participate in parent workshops, support groups, and other events to foster collaboration between home and school.Collaborate with community organizations, agencies, and service providers to enhance support services for students with special needs.

**School Culture and Climate**:
Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and acceptance throughout the school community.Address concerns related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and work proactively to create an environment where all students feel valued and supported.Implement strategies to prevent and address bullying, discrimination, and other forms of negative behavior.

**Qualifications**:

- Ph.d with 6-10 years of experience as a Vice Principal would be preferred.
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification and administrative credentials.
- Prior experience working in special education settings, preferably in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build partnerships.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse abilities.

The Vice Principal for a Special Needs School plays a critical role in ensuring that students with special needs receive the individualized support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. By providing strong leadership, fostering collaboration, and promoting a culture of inclusivity, the Vice Principal contributes to the overall success and well-being of the school community.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
