An E-Rickshaw Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electric rickshaws, ensuring their safe operation and optimal performance. This role requires a combination of mechanical expertise and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The E-Rickshaw Mechanic must possess strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect E-Rickshaws regularly to identify any mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking brakes, tires, batteries, and electrical systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
- Replace or repair faulty components, including motors, controllers, wiring, and other electrical parts.
- Conduct thorough testing of repaired vehicles to verify functionality and safety.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work performed.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot complex issues and share expertise.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to electric vehicles.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide guidance and support to E-Rickshaw drivers on basic maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an automotive or electrical mechanic, preferably with specialization in electric vehicles.
- Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, batteries, controllers, and wiring.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in automotive maintenance.
- Certification or training in automotive technology or electrical engineering is preferred.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting and maneuvering heavy parts.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in the field of electric vehicles.
