JOB DESCRIPTION (Hiring for Saudi Arabia)

An AREA SUPERVISOR’s primary responsibility is to ensure that a

business unit (stores) a particular segment of a company is meeting goals

that contribute to the overall success of a company. The position has a

broad range responsibilities: From analyzing market trends and training and

mentoring staff, to creating and implementing strategies to reach targets.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Checking of internal and external cleanliness.

2. Monitoring the cash count thru pick up report.

3. Inventory and audit the stores, ensuring the proper replenish of stocks

to make sure of smooth operations.

4. Take care of all official documents within the branch (licenses
- workers' Iqama - municipal licenses).

5. Maintaining the appropriate stock levels within the shops through the

proper management and ordering of materials.

6. Work on increasing sales through setting goals and the direct

communication with workers.

7. Follow up the performance of workers and their behavior with

customers.

8. Take samples and do daily testing of tea and coffee, sending notes to

the administration.

9. Work to solve the problems of workers and listen to them.

10. Motivate workers to follow food safety standards within the branches.

11. Preparation of reports for machine maintenance and repair and the

date of completion.

12. Evening visits to branches.

13. Conduct a daily training for Barista within the branches. (To train them

on all the products and customer service) and send a video showing

that.

14. A report on returns and transfers between branches.

15. Ability to follow inventory and check in case of shortage/variances.

16. Financial control and inventory control.

17. Commitment to follow the policy in terms of the sales.

18. Distribution of daily targets and time utilization.

19. Follow-up sales targets and follow-up action with workers.

20. Sending orders to the warehouse and follow up the receipt of

branches.

21. To carry out any tasks assigned by the administration.

22. Commitment to the checklist within the branch and reviewed daily.

23. To be able to perform sales analysis.

Preparation of weekly reports

a. Performance of the branch during the week.

b. Maintenance report.

c. Sales during the week.

d. Supervisor's Notes.

Monthly reports

a. General report on the branch and the performance of workers.

b. Challenges during the month.

c. Total sales compared to the previous month.

d. Supervisor suggestions to increase sales.

Daily Supervisor tasks:
Morning time:
1. Collect the daily sales of the branches and check for the increase and

decrease in sales.

2. Follow-up maintenance notes and check the general condition of the

branch.

3. Check on the daily working schedule of the branch. Ensure that all

points on the checklist have been checked and processed.

4. Ensure the quality of mint and stored in proper manner (flavor and

method of cutting and the overall condition of mint).

5. Ensure the quality of pastries and the date of validity and safety of

packaging.

6. Tasting tea and coffee.

7. Daily cleaning of the cappuccino machine (scooper + shower)

8. Sign the schedule of attendance and departure of workers.

9. Deposit of collected cash sales and daily reports to head office

10. Ensure the cleanliness of worker Hygiene (Uniform and the adherence

to wear mask and gloves during the shift.)

11. Daily maintenance report.

12. Attend the meeting in the case of the request of the administration.

Evening:
1. Ensure the cleanliness of the branch from the outside and inside.

2. Follow-up daily work schedule.

3. Ensure the quality of tea and coffee.

4. Tasting all kinds of cold products.

5. Follow-up maintenance branches.

6. Make sure all machines are working perfectly.

7. Training workers on products.

8. Follow-up customer feedback and customer satisfaction

9. Attending and resolving complaints.

10. Checking of stocks and to transfer in the event of shortage within the

branches.

11. Inventory of the petty cash invoices.

SOLID SKILLS REQUIREMENT

1. Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand,

information and ideas as presented verbally

2. Recognize when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong (Involve

solving the problem)

3. Compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, verify, or process

information or data

4. Use computer [MS Office and other Software etc.

5. Supervise staff by assigning/directing work; conducting staff

evaluations, training and development, taking appropriate

disciplinary/corrective actions, making hiring/termination

recommendations, etc.

6. Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and

professionalism.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management,

Administration, Industrial Technology or Engineering or any related

field.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.
