**Job Summary**:As an Education Counselor you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students through their educational journey. Your responsibilities include providing academic and career counseling, assisting with course selection, and helping students make informed decisions about their educational and professional goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Academic Counseling**: Meet with students individually to assess their academic progress, goals, and challenges. Provide guidance on course selection and academic planning.
- **Career Counseling**: Help students explore career options, identify their strengths and interests, and create educational and career pathways. Offer guidance on internship opportunities, job placements, and post-graduation plans.
- **Course Scheduling**: Collaborate with students to create personalized class schedules that align with their academic and career objectives while considering prerequisites and graduation requirements.
- **Resource Referral**: Connect students with academic support services, tutoring, and resources available within the institution to enhance their learning experience.
- **Student Advocacy**: Advocate for students' needs and concerns, collaborating with faculty, staff, and administrators to ensure a positive learning environment.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, student progress, and other relevant information.
- **Educational Workshops**: Organize and lead workshops on study skills, time management, and career planning to support students' academic success.
- **Stay Informed**: Keep up-to-date with educational trends, admissions requirements, and industry changes to provide students with accurate and timely information.

**Other Qualifications**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic and patient with the ability to build rapport with students.
- Knowledge of educational systems, academic planning, and career development.
- Familiarity with academic advising software or student information systems.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical counseling practices.
- Certification or licensure in counseling or related field (if required by the institution or local regulations).
- Languages : English, Hindi And Marathi

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
