**Admissions Counsellor **position will be the first point of contact for most visitors to the school, the position acts as a positive ambassador of our brand and would be required to be an exceptional customer service professional. The position is expected to deliver exceptional customer service assistance, which includes answering calls and fielding them accordingly, addressing visitor questions and needs, providing an overall welcoming environment, assisting with any parents’ queries, admissions appointments or admissions related enquiries and performing ad hoc administrative duties as needed. The position also supports the school and admissions team with any operational duties that help to drive sales, as well as to capture data accurately into our system. As the receptionist/admissions assistant to the school, he/she needs to be able multi-task efficiently and effectively.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Meet and greet prospective parents in a warm, friendly and welcoming manner, and provide efficient, friendly & excellent customer service to all guests, including current & prospective parents, including offering beverages to all families on arrival.
- Providing effective and efficient management of enquiries from parents.
- Making appointments coordinating and leading school campus tours for prospective new parents and following up with parents.
- Promoting the school’s academic and non-academic achievements.
- Leading the parent journey, mapping and measuring how the campus tours/parent interaction is translating into admissions.
- Maintaining and updating information/data on the student admissions.
- Helping in organizing events as when and required including exhibitions, open days and other events in school.
- Supporting and sharing the work related to school.
- Explain the fee structure to the parents and attend to other misc. queries.
- Manage the school reception area in absence of Front Executive & manage the main School phone line and attend to queries and direct them accordingly in a polite and friendly manner. Place, receive and route calls through the switch board.
- Issue temp ID cards to new admissions
- Schedule and follow up admission related appointments for Principal, GM, Vice Principal.
- Prepare bonafide certificate for junior block.
- Carry out official correspondence for the school delegated by the Management.
- Help parents do online registration.
- Assist in conduct of BLA admission interviews, and follow up.
- When assisting with current parents, he/she helps to direct our parents to the right department for assistance.
- Ensure that all amenities and admissions related materials such as bottled water, prospectuses, school year books, TV videos, Projectors, kids’ play areas, etc are in good order and always displayed in a presentable manner.
- Maintain sufficient stocks of all marketing and admissions col laterals, prospectuses, etc, at all times, including timely re-ordering.
- Support all admissions appointments and ensures that prospects’ names and/or vehicle numbers are printed and displayed prior to their arrival.
- Support with all recruitment events, information sessions and open days, as needed.
- Act as brand ambassador and know the school’s unique-selling points and continuously learn new features of the school; communicate the school ethos and programs effectively.
- Schedule appointments for parents to visit the school.

**Person specifications**

Relevant Diploma or Degree in Business Management or other related courses
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in a similar role in an International School /CBSE school of repute.
- Proactive and shows initiative, able to work independently with mínimal direction
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills in a 1 to 1 and group setting
- Proficient in handling parents’ enquiries in person and over the phone
- Exhibits great customer service attitude and etiquette
- Result oriented and driven by successful outcomes
- A team-player who is able to work with different departments to achieve the overall goal
- Experience in dealing with clients in a multicultural setting
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent English language proficiency, both spoken and written
- Proficiency in a second language (esp. Telegu) is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
