**Aufgaben**:
**Job Description:
**_Lead Hardware Engineer - Drive Assistance Components
- **
- Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India is seeking Engineers /Lead Engineer with a strong Hardware development and integration knowledge, _vehicle electronic systems _to work in the areas of Driver Assistance Systems _mainly in Risk Maneuverer ECU development.**_Mercedes Benz Driver Assistance System _**_assists the driver for collision warning & mitigation, lane recognition, traffic sign recognition, object recognition for avoiding or mitigating crash. The driver assistance functions are realized using different sensors like Mono/Stereo Multipurpose Cameras, Radar and Lidar sensors etc...**_Key Job Responsibilities:

- **
- _Overall hardware Responsible for Drive Assist Systems & ECU development, end-to-end HW responsibility
- _Define & derive component Hardware architechture/design together with component & system teams and/or suppliers
- _Perform hardware design reviews to identify design flaws and prevent failures and ensure best quality hardware deliveries
- _Suggest/Improve existing and New Designs for Hardware enhancement
- _Impact Analysis of the change of Hardware Components to the system and vehicle
- _Hardware requirement definition
- _Perform Component & In Vehicle level EMI/EMC testing; Analyze test Results & propose solutions for improvement
- _Modify/Redesign connectors within/outside ECU
- _Conduct Hardware Test; Root Cause Analysis for hardware related issues/bugs discovered in bench and vehicle level tests
- _Measurement and Analysis of ECU parameters. Eg. Baud rate, ECU performance, Power Management, Interference etc and solve such problems
- _Drive hardware cost reduction (VAVE) activities
- _Key driver for EE Lab / test bench setup for various ECU Variants, Interface checking, gateway modifications**_Basic Qualification:

- **
- _Bachelors/Masters in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- _7-9 years of experience in Automotive domain**_Key Skills and Experience:

- **
- _Automotive Hardware System Engineering and Development experience
- _Exposure to EMI/EMC Test; Result analysis and improvement proposals
- _Experience as Hardware System Engineer or Architect
- _Exposure in one or more of the following areas - Radar systems, Antenna performance, Camera Based assistance systems, Park Assistant systems, Ultrasonic sensors, ADAS
- _Knowledge in Wiring Harness design, Electrical Systems Knowhow and excellent debugging skills
- _Vehicle Testing and EE System Integration
- _System Requirements Elicitation Activities
- _Interpreting component & wiring diagrams
- _Excellent Stakeholder management and sub-team/supplier/cross functional coordination**_Preferred Skills:

- **
- _Usage of Vector CAN tools - CANOE
- _Usage of DOORS
- _System knowhow in Camera/ Image quality/ HMI / Object Detection
- _Ethernet,CAN and FLEXRAY protocol knowledge
- _Exposure to ISO26262, ASPICE, Gateway Simulation
- _Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
- _Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
