Job Title:
Sr. IT Executive **Server** & Network
Department: - IT Operations
Reports To: IT Manager

Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Senior IT Executive is to support internal customer or clients on technology **and **business issues. The Senior IT Executive implements **and** supports hardware, software **and** network **systems** which provide the IT Infrastructure for organization.
The Senior IT Executive typically serves as member of first line management **and** is considered as senior professional within the organization. As such, the Senior IT Executive provides team or technical supervision. The organization will depend on this person's expertise **and** experience with complex technical activities.

The Senior IT Executive generally has the following responsibilities:
01. Working with multiple hardware **and** software platforms at an intermediate level. Working with production units to underst**and** **and** meet information needs.

02. Designing, developing, implementing, **and** maintaining reports **and** reporting tools for service desk **and** business partners. Providing **system** & network availability **and** space to meet the hardware **and** software requirements for the IT to function smoothly.

04. Ensures IT requirements are met **and** service quality maintained when introducing new services. Considers the cost effectiveness of proposed solution(s).

05. Assists in resolving complex technical problems **and** investigating the root cause of problems **and** recommends smart (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timely) solutions

06.H**ands** on experience on Network Data Centre planning/design/ implement or support. Should have extensive knowledge **and** Implementation on Firewalls design (Sonicwall, Fort iGATE, Cisco ASA FW, McAfee), SSL VPN, IPSec VPN **and** working experience on IPS / IDS.

07.Good experience **and** underst**anding** on Load balancers Strong proven experience with Cisco routers/switches/access points/wireless controllers.

08.Network experience using TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM, OSPF, VoIP, BGP **and** any Network security tools, packet analyzers.

09. Knowledge of Network Services Protocols - IPX, UDP, ICMP **and** HTTP / FTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SNMP.
10. Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment

11. Work with information security leadership to develop strategies **and** plans to enforce security requirements **and** address identified risks in an automated **and** repeatable method.

12. Periodic Metrics collection & reporting to senior management **System**/Application/Install, upgrade, support **and** troubleshoot Enterprise Applications hosted on Windows **Server** 2008/2012/2016

13. Install, upgrade, support **and** troubleshoot Web **Server** related problems running on IIS etc.
Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client **server** environment

15Troubleshoot the cause of the users problem which can be caused by one or more of the

16.Windows OS & AD Incident/Production Management Installing, Configuring **and** Hardening of Windows 2003/2008/2012 **Servers **Installing, Configuring **and** Managing AD / DHCP / DNS Services.

17.AD Replication monitoring **and** regular health checks to be performed. Creating Group Policies **and** implementation as per st**and**ard procedures.

18. RAID Configurations **and** Disk management utilities tools.

19.Perform Security Health Check of Windows **servers** **and** other compliance related activities.
Perform timely Patch management as per the Schedule.

20.The setup **and** maintenance of new infrastructure of Windows 2003/2008/2012 **Server** Edition, Domain Controller, DNS**Servers**, DHCP **Servers**, File **Server** etc.

21.3rd party vendor coordination for visit **and** troubleshooting Controlled shutdown **and** restart of services **and** dependencies

22.Monthly check of assets against CMDB Daily Operating **System** alert h**and**ling **and** response
Quarterly / half yearly password maintenance **and** scheduling Ticket Status Check **and** Update

23.Controlled Reboot of **Server** for hardware repair / replace

24.Maintain current **and** accurate inventory of technology hardware, software **and** resources. Software License Usage Monitoring

25.Deployment **and** Maintenance of Backup Agent Software Log **and** Plan Procurement Request
