Role Summary

This role would require to accountable for the production, review, monitoring and general management of time schedules reports and on the program element of extension of time & prolongation claims

**Responsibilities**:

- To develop and maintain Program Master Schedules in Primavera P6
- And responsible for updating Project Schedule and to prepare recovery plan when needed
- To review schedules, undertake analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays
- To support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims by providing the required Primavera P6 program to support our submissions
- Preparing Monthly Schedule updates/reports and contributing in preparation of monthly reports
- Monitor and control the progress of work to be adhered to the planned schedule and achieving project milestone
- To generate executive summary reports for higher management
- To pro-actively follow up on any issue’s impacting the projects schedule
- To provide support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, claim analysis and construction activities in support of the program
- To proactively manage and communicate with stakeholders by attending management meetings and making presentations and reports
- To ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects
- To am accountable for identifying the major milestones to be attained through the Program/Projects completion
- To oversee construction schedule, perform special analysis for resource loading and performance progress
- To am responsible for monitoring and reporting progress of a Program-level Schedule
- To generate executive summary reports for higher management
- To deliver presentations on all the above to Clients and internal managers
- The delivery of our projects is a priority for our business
- The effective planning of our projects is key to our successful project delivery
- Allows us to communicate with and manage our Clients expectations
- Protects our commercial interests and those of our Clients
- Assists in risk management.
- Any planning related claims and disputes are being managed efficiently
- Good quality planning and scheduling is completed in a timely manner
- Effective progress monitoring and updates shared with Project Director(s) and Clients
- Our clients are happy with our project planning and reporting
- WSP successfully agreeing extension of time or prolongation claims

Key Competencies / Skills:
Mandatory Skills
- fully proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle and able to correlate Construction Activities with planning, and schedule control
- To have experience working for/ or with contractors or project management companies and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- To be confident presenting to all stakeholders including contractors and clients
- To be experienced in working on claims from Claimant prospective & Client prospective using recommended practices for claims analysis in construction industry.
- Strong English language proficiency and communication skills
- Strong personal computer and business solutions software and MS office skills
- Substantial experience managing Account Receivable and Billing Analysis
- Experience producing detailed reports
- Positive, people focused individual who can motivate and deliver high performance
- Knowledge and understanding of billing systems and processes.
- Good understanding of credit control techniques and priorities.
- Ability to prioritise deliverables and plan accordingly.
- Strong Excel skills required
- Understanding of integrated business systems essential
- Partnership working with all other teams
- Process Improvement experience required
