**Required Skills**:

- **Delphi Programming**: A strong understanding of the Delphi programming language is essential. You should be familiar with Delphi syntax, data types, control structures, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- **Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)**: Delphi is based on an object-oriented paradigm, so you need to have a solid understanding of OOP principles like encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism. This knowledge will help you design and develop efficient and maintainable code.
- **Database Integration**: Delphi provides robust database integration capabilities. You should be able to work with different database systems, create and manage database connections, write SQL queries, and perform database operations using Delphi's database components.
- **User Interface (UI) Design**: Delphi allows you to create visually appealing and interactive user interfaces. Knowledge of UI design principles, using visual components, and creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces is important.
- **Troubleshooting and Debugging**: As a developer, you will encounter bugs and issues during the development process. Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging techniques, and using the Delphi debugger will help you identify and fix problems effectively.
- **Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)**:Understanding the software development lifecycle is important for any developer. You should be familiar with concepts like requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

**Other Specifications**:

- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Prior experience with software lifecycle and integrated development environment (IDE) is essential.
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems
- Experience with databases
