We are looking for a Medical Biller to join our medical facility’s administrative team to process patient billing information.
- Knowledge/Certifications:_
Medical Terminology
Basic A&P and pathophys
Quality Metric coding (CPT Cat 2)
Experience is more important than a certification since there is no one industry standard for billing knowledge proficiency.
Medicare fee schedule for modifier usage
Familiarity with CCI narrative direction
- Skills:_
Eligibility verifications
Insurance portal navigation (list of which they are familiar with)
Posting payments and denials
Resolving pre-bill edits
Clearinghouse (Waystar, Change) management
Resolving denials / resubmissions
Preparing an insurance appeal
Modifiers required for billing certain services (ie telehealth, e/m, multiple procedures)

- Bonus:_
AHCCCS and Medi-Cal experience
California Workman's comp

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
