Placement Assistant

Job Summary:
The Placement Officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with companies to facilitate the placement of students in suitable employment opportunities. The role involves collaborating with academic departments, understanding industry trends, and coordinating various activities to ensure successful placement outcomes for students.
Key Responsibilities:
**Employer Relationship Management**:Develop and nurture relationships with potential employers to create placement opportunities for students.
Identify and engage with industry partners to understand their hiring needs and preferences.
Regularly update the database of company contacts and maintain a network of industry connections.
**Student Counseling and Preparation**:Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding career choices and placement opportunities.
Collaborate with academic departments to align student skills with industry requirements.
**Placement Coordination**:Coordinate placement drives, recruitment events, and job fairs on campus.
Facilitate communication between students and employers during the recruitment process.
Manage logistics for on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities.
**Data Management and Reporting**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student placements and feedback from employers.
Generate regular reports on placement activities, including success rates and areas for improvement.
Analyze trends in employment and industry demands to enhance placement strategies.
**Collaboration with Stakeholders**:Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and other stakeholders to align curriculum with industry needs.
Work closely with alumni networks to leverage alumni connections for placement opportunities.
Attend industry conferences and events to stay updated on market trends.
**Compliance and Documentation**:Ensure compliance with placement policies and guidelines set by regulatory bodies.
Maintain accurate documentation of placement-related activities for audit purposes.
**Continuous Improvement**:Continuously assess and improve placement processes based on feedback from students, employers, and other stakeholders.
Stay informed about changes in the job market and industry requirements to adapt placement strategies accordingly.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in [Relevant Field]; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in placement activities within an educational institution or related industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with current trends in various industries and job markets.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
**Salary**: ₹9,982.07 - ₹30,945.62 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
