**Job description**

We have a position for a site supervisor with an electrical background to support the overseeing of contractors and vendors on solar power plant sites, provide trouble shooting and confirm compliance with engineering design and drawings. He will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a multi-discipline solar project, coordinate site construction activities and supervise field personnel as required to successfully complete solar rooftop & ground mounted projects on schedule and within budget. The site supervisor works diligently to build a safe, high quality, solar plant.

Working Conditions: Site Supervisors spend 50% of the time working in the field. 50% of the time is spent in the office environment utilizing computer, phones and general office equipment and supplies for reporting functions and record keeping.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate construction workers, subcontractors and vendors.
- Review the work progress and quality on a daily basis.
- Accept deliveries and inspect materials at project sites on a timely basis by the most effective, efficient means.
- Document and resolve issues.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Respond to work delays and emergencies. Analyze and mitigate risks.
- Complete QC inspection and documentation on-site accurately.
- Ensure that projects are constructed safely and to high quality standard.
- Participate in on-site meetings with clients, contractors, utility and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for all safety aspects at the site.
- Responsible for data collection, work order processing, and summary reports.
- Responsible for providing general supervision & development of all employees at the site.
- Use technical knowledge and experience to optimize site performance.
- Determine daily schedules and assignments for work activities, including execution.
- Manage on site technicians, including contractors.
- Monitor tool and part inventories.
- Determine and manage maintenance schedules.
- Communicate daily activities to the customer through daily, weekly, monthly reports.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Provides guidance, training and direction to subordinates, including setting site and individual goals, and performance standards.
- Create and complete Service Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
- Act in the long-term interest of the customer & organization.

**Qualification**:

- ITI/ Diploma in Electrical
- Min 3-5 years’ experience in execution of Solar rooftop and Ground Mounted projects
- Basic computer experience required, creating spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Software Programs.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi preferred.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Required ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize.
- Experience working with current solar technology preferred.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to deliver creative solutions.
- Self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- High degree of attention to detail and follow-through.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Morning shift
