Require Industrial Controller for Compo Maneja site We need hands on experience of 2 -5 years in controlling activities in an industrial company. Preferably in manufacturing or project based set - up.
Proficiency in ERP - SAP, especially in FI and MM module

**JOB TITLE**:Industrial Controller.**

Based in Maneja Vadodara (India)

**JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY**:
The Industrial Controller position, reporting to Site Finance Controller - Maneja, will have the responsibility to ensure seamless flow of financial data from production accounting system to Financial books.

The primary objectives will be the following:
**Operations;**
- Ensure proper cost controlling and review mechanism (Control costs commitments with key stake holders viz Manufacturing, Planning, SCM & Indus teams).
- Operational Control on factory related topics viz. Factory Efficiency, inventory control, production accounting system( MES/ALISTA/AOS) etc.
- Review and challenge operations on improving the Factory efficiency and cost reduction targets set (in tools, consumables, etc).
- Ensure proper accounting and closure of production orders, depreciation allocation, general services allocation etc.
- Work closely with planning team on MPS/P&FM changes and drive the mitigation actions to reduce the risk on site sales and U/O KPI’s
- Lead CFT team to ensure control in industrial and manufacturing environment at factory.
- Identifies new areas of improvement at factory to reduce operation cost.
- Collaborates with CFT to ensure accuracy of the production accounting system, Fixed asset at factory.
- Establishes controls on rate variances and quantity variances, to ensure proper charge to projects
- Develop KPI/Dashboard to measure the utilization of line, assets, tools etc. and monthly animate to site leadership team.
- Ensures physical Inventory and financial inventory tally’s, monitors the results of the perpetual inventory.
- To review the 2IP ideas and its execution before validating it in tool.

**Controlling**:

- Leads CFT to ensure proper Material master are maintained and cross validates, to ensure proper valuation of inventory and recharge to projects via Production order
- Strengthen the controls on Inventory (Material master controls, Obso reserve, stock count, Physical verification).
- Drive Working Capital improvements (Inventory optimization, lead time reductions/takt).
- Focus on improving / implementing Alstom production accounting system effectively including consumption accounting, Work order closure in SAP.
- Review capex proposal as per Alstom guidelines and help business evaluate the business case keeping in mind overall competitiveness of the business.

**Continous Improvement**:

- Drive finance related continuous Improvement actions at level.
- Work closely with tax team to Improve the life cycle of tax cash recoveries at site level.

**Compliance**:

- Lead the Group and Statutory audit process relating to the Unit.
- Ensure Internal Controls are properly implemented in areas of finance, Inventory management, cycle count, production etc
- To ensure adherence to Alstom DOA, POA and other approval controls.
- To ensure that E-BRC required to avail the benefits under export benefits, advance licenses, duty draw back are collected from central treasury team.

You are expected to play an active role to support the various Operations team : pro-active, flexible, innovative, close to your Business needs. **All Operations Finance business partnership activities will be managed by you. **As a consequence, you will have recurrent interfaces not only with vaious functions within site but also with Corporate India finance teams viz. shared services, engineering & other manufacturing sites, tax teams, etc.

**PROFILE**:

- You have an Academic background in Finance CA or CMA with experience of controlling activities in an industrial company. - Preferably in a manufacturing or project based set-up.
- Proficiency in ERP- SAP, especially in FI and MM module.
- Autonomous, pro-active, result and deadline driven
- Flexible, able to push for innovative ideas.

**REPORTING** : This position reports to Alstom Transport India Site Finance Controller, Maneja.
