VMware Aria Operations is a unified, AI-powered self-driving IT Operations management platform for private, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. It delivers continuous performance optimization, efficient capacity, and cost management, intelligent remediation, and integrated compliance. VMware Aria Operations portfolio consists of Aria Operation, Aria Operations for logs, and Aria Operations for Integrations.

This staff product solution architect position provides a unique opportunity to operate in a technical capacity in a heavily cross-functional role and reporting under product management organization responsible for Aria Operations. You will have opportunities to solve some of our customers' most complex technical challenges. You will be a technical SME and a senior partner to internal and external teams guiding design, architecture, customer requirements, and competitive analysis.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**

Solutions and Design architecture: You are expected to work closely with product managers & engineers to provide resolution of problems in the product and lend a customer-facing perspective to design discussions. You are expected to produce customer-facing white papers.

Customer Facing: It is expected that you will be able to help in a customer-facing capacity to assist the pre-sales engineers and product managers with technical challenges or best practices for some of the large customers or prospects.

Technical Enablement: Technical enablement includes building the backend lab environments, SE demos, Product entablements, customer demos, product training to customers, use case development for customers, technical content creation.

**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**

Drive adoption of new Aria Operations offerings and initiatives Understand specific challenges of the IT Operations team from all aspects of deployment, automation, day 2 operations with any workload in a multi-cloud era. Assist customers, account teams, and partners in all Aria Operations portfolio technical aspects. Partner with product managers to enhance and evolve VMWare’s Aria Operations portfolio based on customer requirements. Help to manage customer PoC’s along with the field team. Build up internal lab capabilities for your learning, product management, customer zero testing, and internal technical training activities., Help with developing and improving product documentation.

The role reports to the Sajan Liyon, Director of product management, Aria Operations, based in Bangalore, India: in-country solid leadership and a very experienced product management team. The Product Management team for Aria Operations is geographically dispersed with team members in the United States, India, Bulgaria, and Singapore.

Flexible: The location of this role is flexible within Bangalore, India and will be a mix of working from a local VMware Office and remote, depending on your preferences and arrangements with your future manager.
