Libraray Assistant

Organizing digital library collections and databases by tagging, cataloging, and creating metadata using industry standard software programs
- Establishing policies regarding copyright laws and fair use of copyrighted materials
- Analyzing user needs in order to recommend improvements to existing digital library services or development of new services
- Maintaining an inventory of digital library resources and ensuring that they are available to users when needed
- Providing reference assistance to patrons by answering questions regarding how to use library resources
- Developing policies and procedures for managing digital library collections

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Master’s degree or Degree library science or related field
- 0 to 5 years professional experience working with digital collections
- Strong understanding of metadata standards and schemas
- Experience developing and managing workflows for digital curation
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Salary**: From ₹25,000.00 per month
