**Job Title**: X-ray/CT Scan/MRI Technician
**Position Overview**:
The Healthcare Marketing Executive plays a vital role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote healthcare services and enhance the organization's brand image. This position involves a blend of traditional marketing techniques and digital marketing strategies tailored to the healthcare industry.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Perform Imaging Procedures**:
- Operate MRI, X-ray and CT scan equipment to capture images of patients' internal anatomy.
- Position patients correctly to obtain the most accurate images.
- Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors, such as time and radiation levels, based on the specific imaging needs.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- **Quality Control**:
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Monitor equipment to identify any malfunctions or irregularities and report issues to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- **Patient Care**:
- Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, which may include assisting with changing into appropriate attire or positioning patients on the imaging table.
- Provide care and support to patients during and after procedures.
- **Image Processing and Documentation**:
- Review images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.
- Use computer systems to store, retrieve, and archive images.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- **Collaboration**:
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and assist in patient diagnosis.
- Work as part of a healthcare team to provide efficient and effective patient care.
- **Continuing Education**:
- Stay updated on advances in imaging technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development.
- Maintain licensure and certifications as required by state regulations.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or similar certifying body.
- State licensure or certification as required.
- Knowledge of radiographic and CT imaging procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients as needed.
