An inventory clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of goods and materials within a company or organization. The job description typically includes the following responsibilities:

- **Inventory Management**: Keeping track of all items in stock, including their quantity, location, and condition. This may involve using inventory management software or manual record-keeping methods.
- **Receiving and Shipping**: Receiving incoming shipments of goods, verifying their contents against purchase orders, and documenting any discrepancies. Also, preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring they are accurately packed and labeled.
- **Stock Replenishment**: Monitoring inventory levels and initiating orders to replenish stock when necessary. This involves forecasting demand and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- **Quality Control**: Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods for quality and accuracy. Identifying any damaged or defective items and taking appropriate action, such as arranging returns or exchanges.
- **Data Entry and Reporting**: Entering inventory data into computerized systems and generating reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics. Providing regular updates to management on inventory status and trends.
- **Organizational Support**: Collaborating with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and warehouse operations, to coordinate inventory-related activities and resolve any issues that arise.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to the handling and storage of inventory. This includes proper labeling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials if applicable.
- **Physical Inventory Counts**: Conducting periodic physical inventory counts to verify the accuracy of computerized records and identify any discrepancies. This may involve coordinating with other team members and departments to ensure thorough coverage.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
