Our client is an established and fast-expanding manufacturing company based in Malacca, Malaysia. They have a wide presence within the APAC region and have been operating in Malaysia for over twenty years.

As a **Group Financial Controller**, you will be working closely with the Group Managing Director in overseeing the overall financial health and activities of the entire group. This role will require collaboration with its other entities and departments to meet its financial targets.

**Your key responsibilities for this role are**:

- Managing and overseeing all financial activities of the group which include treasury, financial reports & reviews, cash flow projections, taxation, company financial results, and the accountability of finance controlling procedures.
- Lead and further develop a team of 5 experienced and stable finance professionals.
- To ensure compliance to BURSA requirements for the financial, statutory, audit, and tax by enforcing internal controls.
- To ensure impactful business partnering with the manufacturing operations team to meet business KPIs.

**The successful applicant will have the following**:

- Qualified Accountant with ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW, MIA or equivalent.
- Total of 15 to 20 years of total career experience in Finance & Accounting, with direct experience in manufacturing plant controlling over the recent 3 to 8 years.
- Must have up-to-date BURSA reporting experience with exposure to ESG reporting.
- The willingness to be permanently based in Malacca, with occasional travelling to KL.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin languages.
