Job Description:
As a SolidWorks Designer, you will be part of our engineering team, focusing on the design and development of new products and the improvement of existing products using SolidWorks software. You will collaborate with other team members to turn ideas into tangible products, ensuring all designs meet our technical standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and model components and assemblies using SolidWorks based on project requirements.
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand design requirements and provide technical solutions.
Perform dimensional and tolerance analysis to ensure fit and function of product components.
Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes to ensure consistent documentation of projects.
Participate in design review meetings to present design ideas and details.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and practices in CAD technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks or Fusioon 360 in a professional environment.
Strong understanding of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with PDM/PLM software is highly advantageous.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Experience in a specific industry, such as automotive, aerospace, or consumer goods, depending on the company’s focus.
Pay: ₹9,244.73 - ₹28,545.35 per month
