**QA Tester job description**

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Executed all test phrases during System, Integration and Functional testing including Component, Regression, User Acceptance, Performance, Ad-Hoc and Stress testing.

Reporting to the Development Manager and working alongside our existing team of web developers, you will help to ensure that the work that is produced by the Web Development team is of a high quality and directly meets the needs of the business.

**QA Tester duties and responsibilities**
- Play a key role in software quality improvement for customer facing websites
- Identify test scenarios for web site solutions produced by the team
- Write test plans and perform functional, standards and cross-browser compliance testing
- Identify and document all system errors
- Maintain a repository of system test plans
- Ensure all work meets User expectations and departmental quality standards
- Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards and processes
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Take ownership for and maintain user documentation for website systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
- Good team working and critical thinking skills.

**QA Tester requirements and qualifications**
- Previous working experience as a QA Tester for min 1 years
- High level of IT literacy
- Must be proactive, flexible, and able to adapt QA process to the critical needs of the development team
- Ability to identify critical quality risks and to communicate them effectively
- Ability to define test cases from functional requirements
- Expert in cross browser/environment testing
- Contribute to the overall Test Strategy and Test Plan for the web portfolio Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills
- Professional, positive and results oriented approach
- An aptitude for ongoing learning and ability to develop skill sets

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
