Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Define the test strategies for Functional, Automation, Regression and Smoke Testing
- Understand and implement the testing processes
- Prepare functional and automation test plans
- perform manual and automation testing in validating data sources,
- Identify and communicate risks during test planning and execution phases
- Own and Contribute to the end to end testing tasks like scoping, estimation, planning, test design & execution, defect management, progress tracking & status reporting, UAT support, test closure etc.
- Plan & coordinate for timely availability of the test data & environments
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with project teams, test teams and support partners across US & India
- Ensure that all post test execution wrap up activities are conducted for projects per procedure / requirements
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Identify & drive the improvement opportunities in the QA space
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with the other QA & non-QA teams

Technical Knowledge

Desired Experience
- Experience in testing data validation scenarios and Data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes (e.g.,ETL).
- Familiarity with multiple back-end and front-end languages and libraries, databases, database design, web servers, web services, APIs, and UI functional testing.
- Should have experience with testing AWS Glue Jobs, placing and extracting files from S3 buckets
- Should have good hands on experience in SQL.
- Should have experience in creating queries on PostGres DB, creating data set for testing.
- Should have Good Understanding of Asset Management Domain.
- Understanding and experience of API testing using POSTMAN/Soap UI.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development process.

Nice to have
- Ability to perform testing using JIRA as defect management tool.
- knowledge of testing aws lambda and writing queries in Athena.
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvement
