**Job Requirement**
- Ensures timely & accurate payroll processing and salary disbursement for active & separated employees
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, validation, internal control, and payroll statutory components.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions
- Coordinate work with all departments that deal directly or indirectly, thereby ensuring optimum employee satisfaction levels
- Verify and maintain compliance and tax requirements
- Keep abreast of the one region's current and changing payroll and employment tax laws end to end.
- To play leading role in transforming payroll function through process simplification, digitization, and automation
- Provide support in transitions, mergers & acquisitions
- Respond to complex payroll related inquiries from employees and/or key stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, and improve payroll processes, employment tax processes, and internal controls to preserve the quality, efficiency and overall effectiveness of all payroll functions while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Actively drive team development by necessary coaching, counselling and other learning interventions through soft skill, technical trainings to develop necessary competencies

**Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have strong APAC Payroll processing experience
- Must have good working knowledge on MS Excel
- Good to have prior experience handling any vendor portals
- Should have very good written & verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, organizational and interpersonal skills, team-oriented and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, understand, and carry out detailed instruction and the ability to organize and work concurrently on several projects
- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet critical deadlines is necessary.
- Ability to interact with staff from multiple departments with leadership qualities.
