**Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:

- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for damages.
- Label, categorize, and store materials in an organized manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Regularly update inventory databases or management systems.

**Stock Control**:

- Monitor stock levels and reorder materials when necessary to avoid stockouts.
- Conduct periodic stock audits to reconcile physical stock with records.
- Implement first-in-first-out (FIFO) and other inventory management strategies to minimize spoilage and obsolescence.

**Issuance and Distribution**:

- Issue materials to authorized personnel as per approved requisitions or work orders.
- Ensure that proper documentation is maintained for all material transactions.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill their material requirements efficiently.

**Storage and Warehouse Management**:

- Organize and arrange the materials in the warehouse or storage area for easy accessibility.
- Implement proper storage techniques to prevent damage or deterioration of goods.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse or storage space.

**Reporting and Documentation**:

- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and consumption patterns.
- Prepare periodic reports on stock status and share them with relevant stakeholders.
- Keep track of slow-moving or obsolete items and suggest appropriate actions.

**Procurement Support**:

- Assist in the procurement process by providing accurate inventory data and consumption trends.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and efficient material purchases.

**Health and Safety**:

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling and storing materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the store or warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications is a plus.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Physical fitness to handle and move heavy items.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
