As a Purchase Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the procurement process within our organization. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with vendors, managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. You will collaborate closely with various departments to meet the company's procurement needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Management**:

- Identify potential vendors and establish strong relationships to ensure a diverse and reliable supplier base.
- Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- **Purchase Order Management**:

- Generate purchase orders accurately based on requisitions received from different departments.
- Verify purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy, seeking clarification when necessary.
- Monitor the status of purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Collaborate with the inventory management team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as needed to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- **Cost Optimization**:

- Identify opportunities for cost savings through bulk purchases, vendor negotiations, and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions that align with budgetary constraints.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
- Prepare reports on purchasing metrics such as spend analysis, vendor performance, and inventory turnover.
- Assist in budget planning by providing accurate procurement data and forecasts.
- **Compliance and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement regulations, and industry standards.
- Verify the quality and specifications of received goods against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team to address any product-related issues and implement corrective actions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a purchase coordinator, procurement officer, or similar role.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
- Sound knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and inventory control methods.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of procurement operations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
