As a Business Development Manager (BDM) in the Edtech (Education Technology) industry, the job description (JD) typically includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:

- Identify new business opportunities by researching market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the company's products or services to educational institutions, teachers, and students.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, colleges, universities, and educational organizations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and generate leads.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients to achieve sales targets.
- Provide product demonstrations and training sessions to clients as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the education or technology sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of educational technology trends and products.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹80,000.00 per month
