**Role: Sales Data Scientist**

As a Sales Data Scientist in our data science department, you’ll have the chance to:

- Sales data scientist spends much of their time closely analysing sales figures for product lines
- They review records from previous years and quarters and compare them to current figures, looking for patterns or discrepancies. For example, they look to see if a product sells better at a certain time of year, or maybe sales are falling drastically in a particular region, cost we are spending on DSPs etc
- Forecasting demand, revenue, contribution, and expenses
- Reporting and reconciliation of bookings/orders, opportunities, etc
- Ensuring 99+% KPI success rate
- Gather and analyse data in order to understand problems and address them proactively
- Analysing customer demographics and behaviour patterns to identify opportunities for new products or services that will appeal to specific groups of consumers
- Analysing current marketplace conditions by collecting data from public records and conducting surveys to determine trends in consumption patterns

Internal customers - Finance, Sales, Account Management, Trading, Client Partners

External customers - Brands and agencies who work with us to solve their business challenge

**What you’ll bring**
- Projection and forecasting skills
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams
- At least 8-10 year's experience working in sales analyst, finance analyst or a similar role
- Strong Knowledge of Sales Cycle and its requirements
- Great attention to detail, along with an ability to meet deadlines and prioritize your workload
- Capable of understanding business requirements, business processes and systems analysis, data analysis, systems development methodologies, business/technical liaising, and workflow

**What impact will you create?**

You will work on customer sentiment analysis. You will help in maximization of customer lifetime value (CLV). You will be working on future sales prediction and churn prevention. You will be handling inventory management and provide cross sell recommendations.
