Job Title: Neonatologist

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Diagnose and provide comprehensive medical care to newborn infants with various health conditions and developmental issues.

Oversee the management of premature infants, including those with low birth weight and respiratory distress, in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for neonatal patients.

Conduct thorough assessments, interpret diagnostic tests, and provide accurate and timely clinical evaluations of neonatal patients.

Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers, providing them with education and resources to ensure the well-being and proper care of their newborns.

Participate in research activities, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives related to neonatal care to contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field.

Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, including patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols.

**Requirements**:
DM (Doctorate of Medicine) or DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Neonatology or Pediatrics from a recognized medical institution.

Extensive experience and expertise in providing neonatal care, particularly in managing premature and critically ill infants.

Strong understanding of neonatal medical procedures, treatments, and technologies, including ventilator management and other life-saving interventions.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with parents, caregivers, and the healthcare team.

Proven ability to make critical clinical judgments and decisions in high-pressure situations.

Current registration with the appropriate medical council and a valid license to practice neonatology.
