Overview

The Inventory architect has diverse technical background across technology platforms and inventory management solutions, has a broad understanding of IT systems, including how they work, how they interact with other systems and how they contribute to TI’s success. Inventory investment area is responsible for keeping accurate track of finished goods inventory available for all of TI and ensuring order processing time provides the best customer experience possible.

Responsible for operating and upgrading an inventory management system that provides real-time, accurate inventory as well as enabling an intelligent strategy for maintaining inventory across TI’s PDC (product distribution centers) efficiently and cost effectively. Minimum Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related degree
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience based on the defined technical capabilities and roles

Key Technical Capabilities:

- Experience with Spring framework including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream, Spring MVC, Spring Data
- Experience in Front end technology stack, Oracle and Big data software stacks
- Experience working in streaming platforms (Kafka, RedPanda)
- Strong understanding of Software Development and Project Life cycle processes such as Agile

Responsibilities include:

- Architect solutions to complex problems, assist in the design and oversee the implementation of the proposed solution & support enterprise wide complex problem analysis & troubleshooting requirements
- Provide design and implementation guidance to project teams and internal customers
- Gather, analyze, and document technical and architecture requirements, such as interface, network, security, performance, infrastructure, and reliability requirements
- Lead, influences and establishes direction, standards, design, solutions alternatives and implementation approaches for IT systems, considering factors such as long-term effectiveness, practicality and business benefit.
- Engages in or advise on performance testing, integration testing, problem analysis, business challenges and technical analysis.
- Drives or recommends changes in business processes or technical standards.
- Stays up-to-date on industry trends and expands their technical knowledge on an ongoing basis.
- Defining and ensuring system stability with an always on mentality
- Drive towards zero order cancellations due to inventory accuracy issues
- Mentoring and coaching team members
- Communicates effectively, bridging technical and business conversations, including influencing leaders at all levels of the company
- Working collaboratively and strategically with stakeholder groups to achieve TI business strategy and goals
- Connect the business need and strategy to the appropriate technology landscape for the next 10+ years and build a road map to get there
- Interfacing with technical staff and managers across multiple organizations
- Identifying and resolving problems, with appropriate level management escalation in the event of business impact
- Ensure ongoing compliance with IT Security policies and procedures

Required capabilities:

- Basic knowledge of the Software Development lifecycle and methodologies
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships through execution, partnership and truly understanding the problems and issues for stakeholders
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communications skills - able to communicate with vendors, stakeholders and management at all levels.

**Minimum requirements**:
