**Job Description: Ticketing Staff**
**Position Overview**:
As a Ticketing Staff member you will play a vital role in providing ticketing services and ensuring smooth and efficient travel arrangements for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with booking flights, issuing tickets, and resolving ticket-related inquiries and issues. You will work closely with clients, airlines, and other travel partners to ensure a seamless ticketing experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Flight Booking and Ticketing**:Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate flights based on their travel preferences, schedules, and budgets.
Process flight reservations and issue tickets accurately and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with airline ticketing rules and regulations.
Verify the correctness of passenger details, travel itineraries, and fare calculations.
**Fare Management**:Stay updated on airline fare structures, promotions, and restrictions.
Provide clients with accurate fare quotes and options.
Help clients understand fare rules, penalties, and refund policies.
Maximize revenue opportunities through strategic fare management.
**Travel Documentation**:Assist clients in understanding and fulfilling travel documentation requirements, such as passports, visas, and health certificates.
Ensure compliance with international travel regulations and assist with the completion of necessary forms.
Coordinate with clients to collect and verify travel documents.
**Customer Service**:Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
Handle ticket-related complaints and disputes with empathy and diplomacy.
Assist clients with itinerary changes, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with airline policies.
Offer travel advice and recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
**Collaboration and Coordination**:Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, consolidators, and other travel suppliers.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely ticketing support.
Coordinate with other departments to resolve customer issues and provide seamless service.
**Reporting and Administration**:Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions, changes, and cancellations.
Generate reports on ticketing activities, sales performance, and revenue analysis.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in travel and tourism is a plus.
- Previous experience in ticketing, reservations, or a related field within the travel industry.
- Proficiency in using computerized reservation systems (CRS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Strong knowledge of airline fare structures, ticketing procedures, and airline rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in processing ticketing transactions.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
