**Job Description: Pet Handler**

**Location: Gurgaon, Haryana**

**Position Overview**

A Pet Handler is responsible for the care, supervision, and enrichment of animals under their care. This role involves ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of pets, whether in a kennel, day-care, grooming salon, veterinary clinic, or similar setting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Animal Care: Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, exercising, and administering medications as needed.
- Monitoring Health: Observe pets for signs of illness, injury, or unusual behaviour and report any concerns to supervisors or veterinary staff.
- Grooming and Hygiene: Perform basic grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and cleaning ears.
- Socialization and Enrichment: Engage pets in physical and mental activities to promote their well-being. Facilitate safe and positive interactions between pets.
- Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of all pets by following established protocols for handling, restraining, and monitoring animals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of each pet’s care, health, and behaviour.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with pet owners to provide updates on their pets’ well-being, address any concerns, and offer advice on pet care.

**Qualifications**
- Experience: Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a kennel, veterinary clinic, or animal shelter.
- Additional training or certification in animal care or pet handling is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of animal behaviour and basic veterinary care.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
