**Job Summary**:
The **Barista** will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to customers. This role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. The Barista will also be responsible for handling cash, maintaining inventory, and assisting in daily café operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to the café’s menu.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of drinks, following recipes and specifications.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders, answer questions about the menu, and offer recommendations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt service and resolving any complaints or issues.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the café.
- **Cash Handling & Sales**:

- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the café's point of sale (POS) system.
- Ensure proper cash management and accountability at the register.
- Promote special offers and upsell products to increase sales.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness & Organization**:

- Keep the coffee station, counter, and seating area clean and organized.
- Ensure that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Follow proper hygiene and food safety standards in the preparation and handling of beverages and food items.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
- Assist in restocking supplies and informing the supervisor when stock levels are low.
- Ensure proper storage of perishable items and cleanliness of storage areas.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other baristas, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth café operations.
- Assist in training new baristas or other staff members as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Miscellaneous Tasks**:

- Assist with food preparation, such as pastries, sandwiches, or snacks, if applicable.
- Follow any other instructions from café management to ensure the daily operations run smoothly.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a **Barista** or in a similar role in a café, restaurant, or coffee shop.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso drinks, and other beverages.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash handling skills for accurate transactions.
- Attention to detail and a passion for coffee and customer experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Barista certification or formal training from a recognized institution.
- Experience working with espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing techniques.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
