**Job Title**: Draftsman for 3D Scanning and 3D Modelling or 3D Scanning Technician

**Location**: Tempo Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Gat No. 229, Alandi-Markal Road, Khed, Pune

**Job Type**: Full-time.

**Reports To**: Design and Development Engineer

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **3D Scanning**: Operate 3D scanning equipment to capture precise measurements of physical objects, parts, or environments, and convert them into digital data.
- **3D Modelling**: Create detailed 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other related software based on scanned data and design specifications.
- **Technical Drafting**: Produce technical drawings, schematics, and plans in 2D and 3D formats using AutoCAD or related CAD software.
- **Data Processing**: Process and clean scanned data to remove any noise or errors, ensuring the scanned data is usable for 3D modelling.
- **Model Refinement**: Refine 3D models to meet client specifications and industry standards, ensuring that the models are ready for manufacturing or production.
- **Collaboration**: Work with engineers, designers, and project managers to understand the requirements and ensure the 3D models meet project goals.
- **Quality Control**: Review and inspect all 3D models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
- **Documentation**: Maintain organized files and documentation for all scanning data, 3D models, and technical drawings for easy access and future reference.
- **Innovation and Learning**: Stay up-to-date with the latest 3D scanning and modelling technologies, software updates, and industry trends.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: A degree or diploma in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Proven experience in 3D scanning and 3D modelling, with a strong portfolio or examples of previous work.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modelling software.
- Hands-on experience with 3D scanning equipment (e.g., FARO, Leica, or similar systems).
- Strong understanding of engineering and architectural technical drawings.
- Knowledge of point cloud data processing and integration into CAD models.
- Familiarity with creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturing or prototyping.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- **Additional Skills (preferred)**:

- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with rendering and visualization software.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
