We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lab Technician to oversee the operation, maintenance, calibration, safety, and upkeep of our training infrastructure so that they are used fully. The primary role involves ensuring the smooth operation of lab equipment, handling accessories, spares, daily consumables, and scheduling preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted training sessions for students.

You will collaborate closely with instructors, trainers, and students, and provide technical support and guidance for hands-on projects, experiments, and educational activities.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Equipment and Management (Lab Domain):

- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns of lab equipment, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Perform regular Maintenance checks and servicing of all training equipment.
- Ensure lab equipment is always calibrated and functioning optimally.

Preventive Maintenance:

- Develop and implement a schedule for regular preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Anticipate potential equipment malfunctions and take proactive measures to prevent them.Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Spare Parts Management:

- Identify critical spare parts for all essential equipment and maintain an adequate stock.
- Quickly address unexpected breakdowns with available spare parts to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of required spare parts.

Compliance and Safety:

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations within the lab environment.
- Conduct regular safety checks and drills to ensure a hazard-free lab environment.
- Educate and train students on proper equipment usage and safety measures.

Training Support
- Assist in setting up equipment for training sessions as required.
- Provide technical support to trainers and students during practical sessions.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent in Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a
- related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years practical hands-on experience in a similar role with Robots &
- Cobots automation technology environment, preferably in industry or in similar
- laboratories with mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of robots made by manufacturers such as Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for technical troubleshooting.

Problem Solving:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address technical issues.

Safety Awareness:

- Adherence to safety protocols and ensuring safe lab practices, including risk assessment and hazard mitigation.

Technical Documentation:

- Proficiency in maintaining records, documenting lab activities, and generating reports to support research projects or educational activities.

Communication Skills:

- Effective communication with students, instructors, researchers, and colleagues, providing guidance, instructions, and technical assistance.

Teamwork:

- Collaborative spirit and the ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals, share insights, and contribute to a positive working environment.

Attention to Detail:

- A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate calibration, alignment, and maintenance of machinery and robotic systems.

Inventory Management:

- Skills in managing and tracking lab equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure their availability for lab activities

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
