Principal Visual Designer - Bangalore - Hybrid

In this role, you will leverage your strong visual design, UI design, communication, and collaboration skills to ensure the success of the visual design of our products. Reporting to the Director of Product Visual Design, you will work closely with the extended Visual Design and Design System Teams to drive the evolution of our UIs.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
- Design and deliver best-in-class visual designs for our cloud data management products.
- Create high-quality visual design deliverables such as UI mockups, icons, illustrations, prototypes, and visual assets for production, validation, and testing that are accessible and inclusive to all users
- Work closely with the user experience design, visual design, s to explore plan, validate, and build scalable solutions
- Promote the Informatica Design System and integrate design standards into the product UI to maintain a consistent experience within and across products
- Facilitate design reviews and offer constructive feedback to fellow designers
- Mentor and support visual designers
- Support the Dev and QA teams and review implementation work in progress
- Engage actively as a member of a dynamic, diverse, and global design community

What We'd Like to See
- An online portfolio demonstrating a focus on the design process, visual design, UI design, interaction design, and design specification documentation
- Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and InVision
- A Plus: Ability to create end-to-end designs that meet the needs of all users, from interaction design through creating or driving the visual design and documentation

Role Essentials
- 8+ years of experience designing user interfaces and user experiences for web-based enterprise products, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related design or artistic discipline
- Required: an online portfolio
- Initiative and follow through on design enhancements, tasks for you and the local team, QA reviews, and anticipating future design needs
- Experience working with design systems, either in contributing to one or using a system as part of your design work
- Knowledge of responsive, accessible, and localizable design
- A plus: an understanding of CSS
- A plus: Strong knowledge and understanding of the user-centered design process, with an emphasis on designing for all users
