We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **AVP BFCR - NFR CoE, GSC’s.**

**In this role, you will**:
**The Opportunity**:
The role will be to support develop a sustainable and robust framework to identify financial crime risks and ensure that the controls and procedures are in place to understand, identify and mitigate financial crime risks including anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions, and ensure that the identified risks are effectively escalated and remediated, to Support our Wholesale businesses to grow safely and sustainablyThe Wholesale NFR construct has been brought together in line with HSBC investor commitments in February 2020, and as a result this is an opportunity to shape a key component of HSBC’s future state. In addition to supporting the implementation of the Wholesale NFR business strategy, the “AVP - Business Financial Crime Risk” will play a key role in all areas related to Non-Financial Risk Management

**What you’ll do**:

- Support on the Identification and mitigation of financial crime risks within the businesses’ portfolio and alignment with Wholesale Client Services to ensure the KYC process at on-boarding and remediation/review is robust and addressing the key financial crime risks respectively;
- Assist on the Oversight and management of the FCR governance framework, timely and accurate reporting to Group committees/ external stakeholders.
- Contribute to Line of Business Procedures (LoBPs) assessment and implementation for all three risk areas (AML, Sanctions & AB&C).
- Help to Manage, supplement and assess MI that measures the effectiveness of the FCR framework, incorporating within relevant governance meetings to appropriately inform decision making.
Requirements

**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements**:

- Strong understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviors, processes and objectives
- Good understanding of fin tech, fin crime, regulatory landscape and risk/control disciplines
- Good knowledge of the Non financial risk / operational risk & control environment and disciplines.
- Strong analytical skills especially with regards to understanding business risk, processes, procedures and operational controls
- Good understanding of the Group’s Non-Financial Risk Framework.
- A sound knowledge of the Group and the CMB/GB business, including products, services, systems & processes with understanding of client lifecycle & trade journey
- Highly developed communication, presentation and influencing skills set.
- Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within a team environment.
- Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve complex problems whilst adhering to timelines and quality
- A degree in banking / financial / management / business administration / accounting exposure.
