**Job Description: Quality In-Charge**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Quality Assurance and Control**:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes across the production cycle in the heavy steel fabrication shop.
- Ensure compliance with customer quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor and verify the quality of raw materials, in-process production and final products.
- **Customer Quality Management**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality inspections and audits.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues raised by customers promptly.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports for customer review.
- **Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)**:
- Conduct and oversee various NDT methods (Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing etc.) as per project requirements.
- Ensure all NDT procedures adhere to relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with certified NDT personnel for inspections and testing.
- **Compliance and Standards**:
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and quality certifications (e.g., ISO, ASME).
- Lead the development and implementation of quality management systems.
- Conduct regular audits and internal reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- **Team Leadership and Training**:
- Supervise and guide quality control staff to meet organizational goals.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on quality standards and NDT procedures.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical).
- 5-10 years of experience in quality control within a heavy steel fabrication environment.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques and material properties.
- Proficiency in Non-Destructive Testing methods and related certifications (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer interactions and lead teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO standards) and industry codes (ASME, AWS).
**Factory Site : Near SUNGUWACHATHIRAM**
(employees will be provided with accommodation facility)
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Fixed shift
- Morning shift
