**Field Trial Operation Executive**
**Position purpose -**
To conduct field trials of CP compounds for evaluation of GAP & identification of potential crop & pest including early phase compounds testing, drive digital projects and sustainable initiatives to accelerate transformation and support launch excellence activities so that it clarifies technical positioning against target pests and its fitment in targeted crop segments. Collaboration with SAUs, ICAR Institutes for Regulatory data generation, POP inclusion of CP products & External outreach. Capturing of trial data in SCOUT / technical Presentation. Provide technical support to external & internal stakeholder.
**Major tasks and responsibilities of position (max. 8 key topics)**
- Lead Field Solutions innovation characterization plan in Telangana by conducting field trials to evaluate new and LCM CP innovations (including early phase small molecules using micro-plot methodology) for performance against target pests in various crop segments of Telangana, thus contributing to GAP finalization for registration trial success of CP projects.
- Lead all registration trial projects, external outreach and stewardship initiatives, and inclusion of our CP innovations in recommendation listing for farmers by representing Field Solutions/ Bayer Crop Science, to various state agriculture universities and ICAR institutions based in Telangana.
- Drive customer centrism while working in field by developing knowledge on agronomic practices of important crops, pest dynamics, new innovations in market and understanding pain points of famers by closely working in fields of Telangana State.
- Provide support for transition of CP/Drone/Digital innovations to Market Development by effective knowledge transfer and ensuring trainings for the MD Agronomists & respective stakeholders across Telangana states.
- Drive grower success approach in all aspects of Agronomic Operations, ensuring awareness, compilation and utilization of grower requirements imbibed in our innovation advancement plans across all portfolio projects in Telangana states.
- Responsible for all agronomic operations, drive knowledge transfer initiatives, represent FS in Market Development and Commercial Area engagements in Telangana.
- Drive Safety, Health, Environment, Sustainability & Stewardship principles, and role model LIFE 2.0 (Leadership, Integrity, Flexibility, Efficiency) values.
**Key working relations**:
Internal - Position functionally reports to AO Lead, South India and works in close alignment with Agronomic Solution Managers-IBSL, Launch Excellence Manager and RTM in India. Position also collaborates with Market development, Breeding, Veg R & D, Marketing, and commercial team of Telangana state.
External
- State Agricultural Universities and ICAR institutions in Telangana
**Qualifications**
- Post-graduate in Agriculture Sciences. Industry experience in relevant profiles for 1-2 years.
- Strong collaboration skills with external & internal shareholders.
- Technical skills - agronomic and physiology knowledge of key crops, use pattern and technical knowledge of crop protection solutions.
- Interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, cross-functional team coordination.
