As a Subject Editor - Psychology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the content and quality of our publications related to psychology. You will work closely with authors, reviewers, and the editorial team to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and excellence of published materials. This position requires a deep understanding of psychological research, impeccable editorial skills, and a passion for advancing the field.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with authors, reviewers, and the editorial team to manage the peer-review process for submitted manuscripts.
- Evaluate submitted manuscripts for originality, significance, and adherence to publication guidelines.
- Provide constructive feedback to authors for manuscript improvement, ensuring clarity and coherence of content.
- Ensure ethical and scholarly standards are met in all published materials.
- Edit and proofread manuscripts for grammar, style, and formatting, ensuring a high standard of written communication.
- Stay updated with the latest research trends and developments in the field of psychology to guide editorial decisions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special issues, thematic collections, and other editorial projects.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Subject Editor in the field of Psychology, preferably in an academic or research publication setting.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Psychology or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of psychological theories, research methodologies, and current trends in the field.
- Strong editorial skills, including manuscript evaluation, content editing, and proofreading.
- Familiarity with publication ethics, peer-review processes, and academic publishing standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide clear and constructive feedback to authors.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
