To check and ensure the quality / palatability of normal food prepared for the patients are in accordance with the high standards maintained by the hospital.
- To assist in checking on the quality and quantity of vegetables and other raw materials from line.
- To keep the Assistant Medical Services informed of any difficulties, deficiencies or problems experienced in the kitchen, so far as it relates to providing therapeutic foods to the patients.
- To develop specific menus for patients who have been prescribed special food and nourishments, taking into consideration availability of seasonal vegetables and patient preferences, calorie and nutritional requirements.
- To maintain required reports, records and statistics relating to the area of responsibility.
- To attend to complaints and suggestions from patients regarding food and take immediate remedial measures wherever required, in consultation and co-ordination with Facility In-Charge.
- To conduct diet consultations with patients and advise patients regarding the diet therapy to be applied during and subsequent to treatment.

To workout caloric content etc. of different food items, and make entries made in the diet sheets regarding patient diet.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
