**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Menu Planning and Development**: Collaborate with the head chef and management team to plan and develop the café's continental cuisine menu. Create innovative and appealing dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook a variety of continental cuisine dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to standardized recipes and specifications. Ensure that all food items are cooked to perfection and meet quality standards.
- **Kitchen Management**: Supervise kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of continental cuisine dishes. Provide guidance and training to ensure consistency and efficiency in food preparation techniques.
- **Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Conduct regular inspections of food items to ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and adherence to recipe specifications.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for continental cuisine dishes. Place orders as needed and ensure that inventory is properly stored and rotated to minimize waste.
- **Sanitation and Safety**: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of food items, utensils, and equipment.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Be flexible and willing to assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff members to coordinate food preparation and service. Communicate effectively with servers and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a continental chef or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institute preferred.
- Creative flair and passion for experimenting with flavors and ingredients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Manual dexterity for handling kitchen equipment and utensils.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
