**Medical Billing**:

- Updating and maintaining accurate patient information in billing systems.
- Verifying patient demographics, insurance details, and other relevant data.
- Generating invoices for medical services provided to patients.
- Creating and submitting insurance claims to relevant payers (such as private insurance companies, Medicare, or Medicaid).
- Assigning appropriate medical codes (such as CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS) to procedures and diagnoses.
- Tracking submitted claims and following up with insurance companies.
- Resolving any claim rejections, denials, or discrepancies.

**Medical Coder**:

- **Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)**: Describes medical procedures and services.
- **Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS)**: Identifies supplies, equipment, and services.
- **International Classification of Diseases Tenth Revision Clinical Modification (ICD-10 CM)**: Represents diagnoses.
- Additionally, they may assign codes like **American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA)**, **Ambulatory Payment Classifications (APC)**, or **Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG)**.
- Ensuring that codes are assigned correctly according to government and insurance regulations.
- Sequencing codes appropriately to reflect the order of procedures and diagnoses.
- Receiving and reviewing patients’ charts and documents for verification and accuracy.
- Analyzing medical records to identify any documentation deficiencies.

Pay: ₹9,308.72 - ₹15,000.00 per month
