**Compliance and Regulations**: STP/ETP plants must adhere to various environmental regulations and standards. The supervisor is in charge of ensuring that the plant complies with all relevant rules and permits, keeping accurate records, and submitting required reports to regulatory authorities.

**Safety and Environmental Compliance**: Safety is a crucial aspect of operating a treatment plant. The site supervisor is responsible for implementing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring that all personnel follow safety procedures.

**Troubleshooting and Maintenance**: When issues arise with the treatment process or equipment, the supervisor must identify the problem and coordinate with maintenance staff to rectify it promptly. Regular maintenance schedules must be followed to prevent breakdowns and ensure the longevity of the equipment.

**Quality Control**: The treated water or effluent must meet specific quality standards before it is discharged or reused. The supervisor is accountable for monitoring the water quality through various tests and checks to ensure it meets the required parameters.

**Staff Management**: The supervisor is in charge of managing the site staff, which may include operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel. This involves assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating their performance.

**Resource Management**: Efficient use of resources, such as energy and chemicals, is essential to the operation of STP/ETP plants. The supervisor must manage these resources effectively to optimize the treatment process and minimize costs.

**Emergency Response**: In case of emergencies, such as spills, equipment failures, or natural disasters, the site supervisor must act quickly to mitigate the impact and implement appropriate emergency response plans.

**Documentation and Reporting**: Keeping accurate records is essential for regulatory compliance and future reference. The supervisor must maintain detailed records of plant operations, maintenance activities, water quality test results, and other relevant information.

**Continuous Improvement**: The site supervisor should continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the treatment plant. This may involve adopting new technologies, optimizing processes, or implementing best practices.

**Salary**: From ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
