Job Title: Senior Data Warehouse Engineer
Job Summary:
Data warehouse engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience is responsible for designing, developing, and
maintaining data warehouses and other data management systems. The following is a general job
description for this role:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Design and develop data warehouses, data marts, and other data management systems
2. Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to populate data warehouses and data
marts from various sources
3. Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all data management systems
4. Optimize data storage and retrieval for maximum efficiency and performance
5. Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other documentation
6. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to
meet those needs
8. Monitor and troubleshoot data management systems to ensure optimal performance and
uptime
9. Continuously improve data management processes and systems to keep pace with changing
business needs and technology advancements
**Requirements**:
1. 5 to 6 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and data management
2. Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools (e.g. Amazon Glue,Amazon Athena, SSIS), and data modeling
techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling)
3. Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Amazon
Aurora, Snowflake)
4. Hands experience with data visualization using Tableau
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor or Master;s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
