We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist with specialized experience in providing care for cancer patients. As an Occupational Therapist specializing in oncology, you will play a crucial role in helping cancer patients regain and maintain their independence, improve their quality of life, and cope with the physical, emotional, and functional challenges associated with their illness and treatment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assessment**: Conduct comprehensive assessments of cancer patients to identify their physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional needs, as well as their goals for rehabilitation and recovery.
- **Treatment Planning**: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- **Intervention**: Provide therapeutic interventions to address impairments, limitations, and participation restrictions related to cancer and its treatment, including but not limited to:

- Range of motion exercises
- Strength training
- Energy conservation techniques
- Activities of daily living (ADL) training
- Adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Pain management strategies
- Lymphedema management
- **Education**: Educate patients and their families about the importance of occupational therapy in cancer care, as well as strategies for maximizing function, independence, and quality of life both during and after treatment.
- **Support**: Offer emotional support and counseling to patients as they navigate the challenges of cancer and its impact on their daily lives, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience.
- **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, social workers, and psychologists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge plans in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Research and Professional Development**: Stay abreast of current research and best practices in oncology rehabilitation and occupational therapy, participating in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in India.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in oncology or a related field.
- Specialized training or certification in oncology rehabilitation is desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
