**Job Summary**:
As a VMC Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machining operations on Vertical Machining Center machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. You will utilize CAD/CAM software to develop machining programs, troubleshoot programming issues, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Programming**: Develop CNC machining programs using CAD/CAM software based on engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- **Setup**: Set up VMC machines by programming toolpaths, selecting cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices, and optimizing machining parameters for efficient production.
- **Optimization**: Continuously optimize machining programs and processes to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and enhance overall productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Simulation**: Utilize simulation software to verify and validate CNC programs, identify potential issues, and optimize toolpaths for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- **Troubleshooting**: Troubleshoot programming issues, tooling problems, and machining errors to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
- **Quality Control**: Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to develop inspection plans, perform first-article inspections, and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate documentation of CNC programs, tooling setups, and machining processes, including revision control and version management.
- **Training and Support**: Provide training and technical support to machine operators and production personnel on CNC programming, setup, and operation as needed.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to coordinate job priorities, resolve technical issues, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- **Safety**: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to machine safety procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Proven experience as a CNC programmer, preferably with expertise in programming Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Mastercam, Delcam, or similar.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling selection, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and familiarity with engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
