Dental Surgeon

Job Description:

- Preparing operating rooms for surgery by sterilizing equipment, preparing instruments, and setting up equipment
- Administering local anesthetics, performing extractions, and replacing missing teeth with implants and dentures
- Cleaning teeth and removing stains using tools such as ultrasonic cleaners or air abrasion devices
- Perform oral treatments including root canals, extractions, and fixing and removing prosthetics.
- Work with clinical staff to provide quality patient treatments.
- Educate patients on preventive dental care and oral health care.
- Design and fix prosthodontic appliances including bridges, dentures, and space maintainers.
- Treat teeth malformations, gum injuries, and other oral abnormalities.
- Use dental instruments safely to avoid accidents.
- Operate x-rays and diagnostic equipment effectively to examine teeth and gums.
- Ensure that the work area is maintained safely, cleanly, and organized.
- Follow standard dentistry procedures and comply with company policies.
- Evaluate patients’ dental health and prescribe medications.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists when needed.
- Stay abreast with the latest developments and techniques in dental field.
- Work with other office staff in managing patient appointments and scheduling to achieve productivity goals.
- Performing surgery on gums, jaws, and other parts of the mouth to treat disease or injury
- Diagnosing and treating periodontal (gum) disease by performing biopsies and charting progress

Preferred Qualification & Skills:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery degree
- Experience working in a private practice setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to speak multiple languages
- Good Communication and convincing skill
- Attention to detail
- Dexterity and coordination
- Empathy and Team Work

**Salary**: ₹360,000.00 - ₹840,000.00 per year
