**Role Overview**

As the **Creative Writer** you'll craft platform-specific scripts for YouTube, Instagram, and more, turning insights into engaging ads and content. You'll collaborate with creative teams to ensure seamless script-to-visual translation while staying on top of trends to drive high-performing, on-brand content.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Write long and short-form scripts tailored for different platforms, including YouTube, Instagram and other such requirements, understanding the nuances required to make each platform's content successful.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to transform strategic insights and research into captivating scripts for ads, videos, and educational content.
- Create trending, engaging, and high-performing scripts that align with our brand voice and appeal to our target audience.
- Work alongside the creative producer and videographers to ensure the seamless translation of scripts into visual content, helping to visualize and storyboard where necessary.
- Adapt writing style to suit different content formats (ads, promotional videos, educational videos), ensuring consistency and clarity across all outputs.
- Stay informed on social media and content trends, ensuring scripts are fresh, relevant, and effective.

**Requirements**:

- An undergraduate or masters degree in marketing or communications or background in marketing, media & communications or advertising related is preferred.
- Previously worked as a content writer, script writer, creative strategist in startup, media houses, freelancer or creative agency.
- Proven experience in writing long and short-form scripts for brands, influencers, or personal projects, with a portfolio to demonstrate your work.
- In-depth understanding of how script requirements vary across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and other social channels.
- Ability to craft scripts that align with current trends and have the potential to go viral.
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with creative producers and videographers to bring scripts to life visually.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong sense of how to convey information effectively through both dialogue and visuals.
- Creative thinker who can visualize the final product and work towards turning the script into compelling content.
