**Job Title**: Psychiatrist

**Experience Required**: 5-10 years

As a Psychiatrist in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals suffering from various psychiatric disorders. Your expertise and experience will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients' mental health conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Clinical Assessments**: Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health conditions, including psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects.
- **Diagnosis and Treatment Planning**: Utilize your clinical expertise to accurately diagnose various psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, which may include medication management, psychotherapy, or other therapeutic interventions.
- **Medication Management**: Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, adjusting dosage and treatment regimens as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes while minimizing side effects.
- **Crisis Intervention**: Offer crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises or suicidal ideation, collaborating with emergency services and other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
- **Collaborative Care**: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate holistic care and support for patients across various healthcare settings.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families about psychiatric disorders, treatment options, medication adherence, coping strategies, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term mental health and wellness.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree (MBBS) with specialization in Psychiatry (MD/DNB/DPM) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Karnataka Medical Council (KMC).
- 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in clinical psychiatry, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English and any regional languages preferred.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and professional integrity.

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
