About the role

We are hiring for the position of “Principal Infrastructure Administrator” with good communication and technical skills, to manage Cloud resources like Azure and Google cloud platform and perform database administration on Azure Synapse, Big query etc. The person will be point of contact for these platforms and mainly responsible for managing the resources, maintaining the services, migrating the code, taking backups, controlling and managing cost, be vigilant of the security around these resources and following best practices adopted by industry. As an administrator you will be communicating to and building strong professional relationship with peers, stakeholders and people in the eco system. You will also be responsible for health review and managing the health of the ecosystem you are managing and making sure to prevent and remediate the vulnerabilities. As an infra administrator you will be working with Development team suggest them the best practices make sure every one is following the policies laid by organization around the system.

What You Will Do in This Role- Systems analysis skills to support/maintain operational systems- System Monitoring- Strong experience in tuning long running queries- Troubleshoot and debug Database runtime issues- Advanced SQL proficiency, experience with Big Query/ Azure Synapse- Understanding of data relationships and objects within RDBMS- Experience and understanding of very large-scale data architecture, solutioning, and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms. (Both Cloud and On-Premise)- Cost management on Cloud projects, Resources- Hands on expertise in cloud administration(preferred GCP),configuration management on large scale environment.- Identity and Access management, User provisioning, RBAC, AD group management- DevOps tools like Terraform- Evaluation of GCP infrastructure requirements and design/deploy solutions- Knowledge and hands on experience of core GCP Data stack including BigQuery, DataProc, DataFlow, CloudComposer etc.- Follow community best practices- Analyze existing services and modules for potential operational risks, mitigations and automation- Explore and evaluate new technologies to advance our SaaS platform to grow our business- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Cloud is an added advantage.- DevOps with Cloud management and automation development is an added advantage.- Experience with GIT repos is an added advantage.
