**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Reception and Assistance**:

- Greet patients and visitors warmly and provide directions and assistance as needed.
- Ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes for patients.
- Answer and manage phone calls, appointments, and patient inquiries efficiently.
- **Appointment Scheduling**:

- Schedule, confirm, and follow-up on patient appointments.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure accurate scheduling and minimize wait times.
- **Patient Information Management**:

- Accurately collect and enter patient details into the hospital information system.
- Handle registration, insurance verification, and ensure all forms and documents are completed and filed correctly.
- **Billing and Payment Handling**:

- Assist patients with billing inquiries, payments, and insurance claims.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate processing of payments and maintain records of financial transactions.
- **Patient Relations and Complaint Handling**:

- Act as the primary point of contact for patient feedback, grievances, and suggestions.
- Handle patient complaints professionally and ensure they are resolved quickly or escalated to the appropriate department.
- **Coordination with Clinical Teams**:

- Communicate and coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient care flow.
- Assist in managing patient expectations by providing timely updates and information.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness and Order**:

- Ensure the front office, waiting areas, and reception are well-organized, clean, and welcoming.
- Coordinate with housekeeping or facility management for maintaining the physical environment.
- **Patient Education and Guidance**:

- Provide patients with relevant information about hospital policies, procedures, and available healthcare services.
- Guide patients regarding hospital facilities, support services, and health plans.
- **Data Protection and Confidentiality**:

- Uphold patient privacy by maintaining confidentiality regarding medical records and personal information.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and healthcare regulations like HIPAA (if applicable).

**Key Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare environment in patient services or a similar role.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a polite and patient-friendly demeanor.
- **Customer Service**: Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, their families, and healthcare staff.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to accurately manage patient records, billing, and other administrative tasks.
- **Problem-Solving**: Proactive approach to solving patient issues and managing grievances.
- **Multitasking**: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
